Knotty Pine Meadows, named for its eminent Lumber Pine over 600 hundred years old, hosts a delightful assortment of over 100 species of flowering plants.

A walk through the meadow is a sensory experience in botanical wildlife. The delicate, swaying dance of Old Man Whiskers in a gentle breeze will transfix you.

The sweet fragrance of Honeysuckle and Clemaitis will intoxicate you, while the silkiness of the flamboyant Tiger Lily and the fur of the Prairie Crocus will leave you feeling you've touched a bit of Heaven.

Beautiful, intricate, and complex, the native wildflowers of Knotty Pine Meadows return year after year to regale the meadow once again with thier beauty, poise, and fragrance.
